3 Tips to Keep your Engines Burning

Burn Baby Burn!  How about a few quick tips on metabolism?

I tend not to be a big eater, but I do try to keep my metabolism up and running. Everyone is different in this respect and all of our engines burn differently. It’s up to you to find that perfect burn rate and keep that flame going. Here is what works best for me. Start thinking about what’s best for you.  I have to admit that I do slip every now and then, but hey, we’re all human!

Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks daily
This boosts metabolism and keeps my body from going into starvation mode.  Starvation creates toxins such as ketones and it’s better to be proactive and keep them at bay.

Never skip breakfast!!
Eating within 30 minutes of awakening will actually boost your metabolism.  Make it a habit and you’ll be glad you did.

Remove refined foods
Remove or reduce white processed foods, white sugar, white rice and white flour. These are processed and not in their natural form and therefore are very hard to digest. Eating foods in their natural state is going to be the best thing for your beautiful body, mind and soul.
